Natural hairstyles are gaining popularity and the natural Mohawk hairstyle is attracting its own share of popularity. It is not only outstanding but also adventurous. It is fun and ready to go with little care required. Charleston SC hair salons are looking to provide the best black hairstyles to suit you. This natural Mohawk hairstyle is ideal for medium hair.

Step-by-Step Guide
Preparation

Shampoo your hair thoroughly and rinse leaving no soap residue
Straighten your hair just a little bit to detangle it

Creating the Natural Mohawk hairstyle

1. Segment your hair into 3 horizontal parts.
These three parts originate from the top of your heal all the way to the neck line. They should leave the mid-section from the crown of your head as the center.

2. Hold up the mid-section
The mid-section is to remain untouched and to avoid mixing the segmentations; it is best that you hold it up and tie it in position.

3. Plait some lines directed towards the hair that is held up from the side sections
With the side segments, plait some lines. These lines originate from the end as they approach the center. Do this on both sides. However, once the line reaches the margin where the tied hair starts, do not complete it. This helps it to blend in with the rest of the hair.

4. Apply some gel over the mid-section
Untie the mid-section hair and apply some hair gel. This will help to bring the hair together thus creating a fuller illusion as well as leaves some fancy curls to your natural hair.

5. Style as desired
Because the mid-section is not plaited, you can direct it in either direction of your choice.

Rather than experiment on your own and turn out with a less attractive outcome. This hairstyle is a creation of Ursula Kershaw from the Studio in North Charleston, SC. You can reach her to book an appointment on (843) 364-4049.
